| Types of Nitrous Systems.....
There are 2 basic types of nitrous systems, "wet" and "dry".
A dry nitrous system simply means that only nitrous is delivered through the nozzle.
The fuel required to make additional power with nitrous will be added through the factory
fuel injectors (keep in mind, fuel makes power, nitrous simply allows the engine to burn
more of it). This keeps the upper intake dry of any fuel.
This is typically accomplished by "tricking" the computer into add more fuel to the engine.
The second type is the wet system. These kits add nitrous and fuel at the same time.
All carb plate systems fall into this category of system.
This type of system will make the upper intake wet with fuel. These systems work best
with intakes designed for wet flow and turbocharged & supercharged applications.
